It occurs to me that we should be mirroring things like this, because I
think one day it will just vanish.

I had a large mirror of things like that, and unfortunately it is one of
the few bits of data that I've ever lost.  I'm slowly picking up things
I worry about losing in the future.

The trick is organizing a project like this to enlist the help of
others, and to avoid excessive redundancy.
