Well, sure - they aren't required reading... They are focused/most meaningful to folks at a certain point in their life. I really liked Encyclopedia Brown books, but Iwouldn't read one now, unless I wanted to decide if my son was ready for the stories... (He's not, but he will be soon ;^)
