I have no shortage of PCs around *at home* to plug one into.  I just
don't have the Kinesis.

If I'd had a few days' advance warning of the sudden-death layoff, I
might have gone into the office on the bike and brought the Kinesis
home.  (My ankle still worked well enough to ride, then.)

My guess is it ended up in a dumpster.
