[rescue] Advice on Octanes

Oops sorry I just wanted to illustrate for which environments I am using
both and octane and a P3 and in which I seem to get far better performance
out of the Intel box than out of a dual R10K Octane.

I have also to note that I do not particularly like Intel x86, and that
the Octane is my main desktop box although I may be getting a PowerBook
soon which I hope will make my room both cooler and quiter.

This is not a bashing of the Octane, but sometimes we must pay due when it
is due, and although the Octane memory and architecture were revolutionary
6/7 years ago, sadly (or gladly) commodity parts caught up with it.
