A bit if info on OO porting and it's requirements.

Below is the blip from the install help regarding Java:

"The Runtime Environment used can be modified at any
time.  In the folder ../OpenOffice.org1.1.0/program,
call the "jvmsetup" program. If you do not select a
Java Environment, neither Java Applets, JavaScript, nor
database access via JDBC can be carried out."
