I seem to have some spare "mismatched" 64s around (they're in pairs, which is 
fine for Ultra 1, but may not be identical banks of 4). Bug me offlist if 
you want some... I'm open to some trades or outright sale.  (this is mainly
aimed at Tim, but if someone else wants some feel free to ask... I'll see
what I can do)

Agreed. I don't think the Ultra 1 does special interleaving, so you 
can edge your way up in density without any performance hits. i.e.
a pair of 128s, a pair of 64s, and a pair of 32s will coexist happily.
