>No hard & fast rules it seems. Yep. I have several PCI-equipped 486en, mostly DX4/100s. I have a 486 board with both VLB and PCI. I also have a P100 with EISA and PCI, which is a weird creature: the plug-and-play logic for the PCI bus seems to live in the EISA config utility. --James B.
