A DLT IV tape will get 20/40 on a DLT4000, 35/70 on a DLT7000,
and 40/80 on a DLT8000. The DLT7000 and DLT8000 can write a
higher-density pattern on a DLT IV tape, but the tape meets
the spec for all three densities.
