this all looks pretty similar to my methods.

does anyone have anything special they use for keyboards, though?

if fully disassembling (worth the effort on something like my hp86), is
there something to soak in? I'm imagining that a US dip would take off
painted keylabels......

otherwise, you will end up getting liquid cleaning agent down into the
guts, what's best then?
