What do you have?

A brand and part number would be appreciated.

The only thing I have seen so far is some home-brew BIOS that did
serial consoles.

The problem is that the PC industry seems to come out with new
motherboards about every 30 minutes, so keeping up a serial BIOS project
is daunting.

There is one though, based on Linux I believe.

Has anyone tried it?
