Cool. Keep the internal system chassis from the E5500 rack and you will end
up with a separate (and much smaller) E4500 system.

My advice is to sell the 2Gb FC-AL cards as they're worth more than all the
other parts put together. Each of the x2612a I/O boards have FC-AL built-in
(plus the E3500 has an additional FC-AL mezzanine built in) so you can
always add external 1Gb FC-AL simply by inserting some GBICs.
