For real? I had the displeasure of using an iMac in this exact
configuration last semester at Purdue. It was in a 400 level English
class; the class it self wasn't bad but I HATED those machines. They were
so sluggish. I just had to get used to waiting two minutes for a one-page
pdf to open...

At the time I thought that putting OS X on the machines couldn't hurt them
but I guess I could have been wrong. As far as I can remember the
machines had plenty of ram... To get this back on topic, Suns seem to be
slowly disappearing from the campus but I have yet to see any Ultra Sparc
stuff at salvage. I would love to know where those machines are ending
up... anyone know?
