Sounds like there's some extra patches floating around that haven't been
integrated into ISC's code as yet. The comments in bpf.c (and version
info) indicate that nothing much has changed since Ted Lemmon took my
broken patch. It's been long enough that I can't look at the code and
see if it's been fixed since.
