Knoppix is really different, however.  

You boot from a single CD and have a working, X windows based, Unix
workstation at your fingertips, with OpenOffice, Mozilla, etc. all
ready to go.

If you have MSDOS or other recognized filesystems on a disk attached
to the system, you can choose to mount them.

It is not a case of "cool it uses Linux"; more a case of "it is very
cool to have this functionality, and oh btw it runs Linux" .
