Well, a friend of mine uses them a lot.  It's a hit or miss affair it
seems.  If they survive the first year, they seem to do fine.  But he
said about half of them never make it to month 12.

Of course, this is constant use, but IMHO there is no market for a drive
which can only handle loading a game once a day.

All of them should be able to pull duty during their projected lifetime.

The problem is they are cutting corners drastically.
