[rescue] Quick question about the precisionbook

 Hello,

 Finally got my precisionbook, but it won't boot :(. I'm pressing the button 
left of the small display (this is the on/off button?), nothing happens when I 
expect it to turn on. 

 When I plug in the AC adapter, all characters on the small display light up, 
but it goes blank again after half a second and stays blank. Is this normal 
behaviour? Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
