I just installed and compiled the original 350 point version of ADVENT on a
DEC PDP10 KS10. It takes about 45 seconds to read the database and fill the
arrays. Once that is done the response time is just fine on a 9600 Bps
direct connection.

WELCOME TO ADVENTURE!! WOULD YOU LIKE INSTRUCTIONS?

n

YOU ARE STANDING AT THE END OF A ROAD BEFORE A SMALL BRICK BUILDING.
AROUND YOU IS A FOREST. A SMALL STREAM FLOWS OUT OF THE BUILDING AND
DOWN A GULLY.
