heh.  I wish I could spare the money to pay for the juice to run my
E3000.  I have *lots* of uses for it.  Like, it has the CPU horsepower
to run my disk arrays in RAID5 mode instead of striped and still push
data at wire speed.


I'm with you on the whole case-modding crowd, though.  A nice paint job
on the case? Sure.  It doesn't have to be a beige eyesore.  Case
windows?  Custom paint jobs on heatsinks?  Fans with LEDs embedded in the
blades?  Fluorescent lights inside the case?  Come *on*.  A machine with
all that crap looks as silly as these slammed rice-rockets that
high-center on speedbumps and can't get in and out of parking lots
without scraping hard bits.


(I've got a design in my head for a PC case that wouldn't even *look*
 like a case ... but that's another story.  It's designed to look cool
 and be functional, not just to look cool.)
