I agree, "but"....

Don't try to run NetBSD-current or NetBSD-1.6 on any sun4c machine
without hardware cache flush assist.  That includes the IPC, SS1, SS1+
and some others.  There's a bug in the context switching somewhere that
eventually corrupts any large and/or long-running program, such as GCC
(you can't compile a kernel), or the Xserver, etc.  Supposedly 1.5.x
still works well enough, but until/unless this cache bug is fixed then
NetBSD on these really old sparcs is getting stuck in the dust.
