Sorry, can't help myself - McDonalds food simply sucks these days.

When I was a kid (25 yrs. ago!), their food was good (no, my standards
didn't change ;^). It was cooked shortly before I ordered it and
assembled after I ordered it... The warming trays that they have now,
along with their little ovens for keeping previously cooked patties
warm until they assemble the burger and put it on the warming tray.

At McDonalds, they are focusing on "Fast" and letting the "Food"
slide... KFC will kick their butt, because McDonalds dropped the ball
chasing the very last nickle that could be saved. If McDonalds charged
a premium and cooked the patty after it was ordered, they would regaina
lot of business...

And the presentation - cripes, Big Macs look like someone barfed in the
bag, the dropped a sesame seed bun in... There was a reason the Big Mac
used to come wrappe din paper with the cardboard ring around it.

Oh the fries & shakes are still pretty good, if you get the fries
fresh...

But, to keep it "on topic", they use computers to take your orders
now... ;^)
