[rescue] crossarchitecture ufsdump, dds3/dds4 tape drive

Hi folks,

I have a dds3 (12/24gb) tape that I need to restore. Contents are about 5
ufsdump archives from a Solaris/SPARC system. Unfortunately my dds3 drive
is at least temporarily hiding from me. Got a couple of questions.

1) Will Solaris/x86 read Solaris/SPARC ufsdumps? 

2) Anyone got, or have a suggestion (other than ebay) on where I could
find, a cheap and quickly acquired dds3 or dds4 tape drive? I'm near San
Jose, California, and the obvious sources I've looked at out here are
either way too expensive or don't have the goods. I'm inquiring on a
couple of semi-local eBay auctions that are or include DDS3/4 tape drives,
but I'm not counting on them at this point.
