  Indeed...about two months ago, a speedometer calibration defense got
me out of a ticket in Virginia that could have, no shit, LANDED ME IN
JAIL FOR A YEAR.  Instead the judge hit me with a $60 fine and sent me
home.

  Virginia is unbelievable.
