[rescue] DEC 300 woes

Thanks to all who told me to re-RTFM.  the 8 little leds are telling me
that it is has completed the first of three memory tests and beginning
the second when it halts -> Memory test failure. Fatal error. Trap to
mini console.

OK - have reseated memory (4 - 8's) tried in every combination and still
fails, I doubt that all four sticks failed at the same time while
sitting on the shelf, so am i correct in assuming the processor or
motherboard have failed?
