sadly, each and every standard i've ever driven, i've managed to blow the
transmission somehow. from my old stealth to a honda accord to bill's old
kia. :( thus, i shall admire or drool at it from afar or the passenger
seat :)

i've been meaning to do some work on my own car now for about six months,
its in need of a few things (battery, brakes, top seals, that sort of boring
thing...i rarely drive it, maybe 1k miles per year so it slips the mind).
