i am being a nitpick about this for one reason only.  this list is used by
people who don't know this hardware as well as you and i do, so we need to
make sure that information like that is avoided.  blanket statements bad, be
specific when making comments like that (and i know it was sridhar, not you,
but that's not the point)

see what i'm getting at?  if this were a private list i wouldn't care, but it's
not, so be careful not to accidentally mis-inform people.

i've got an SS10 with dual SM61s and a FDDI card that i need to rebuild,
i'd really rather not install Solaris on it though (even though it runs
Solaris just fine) but the SMP/FDDI thing keeps tripping me up.  he needs
to get that done and pronto!!  ;)
