Definitely DeMIME's doing.  My message left here with:

	MIME-Version: 1.0
	Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
	Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

and with a string of ten 0xB0 byte sequences where zeros appeared in the
copy distributed by the list.  My own MTAs in the path both "just-send-8".

Is this DeMIME monstrosity tunable in any way?  Perhaps it could only
"D.T.R.T." with multi-part/alternative, HTML-only, and rich-text-only.
