Yep.  

I picked up an NPI EIFO+ on e-bay recently for $10.00, makes a great FDDI
bridge.  It has lots of pretty blinking lights too!

as long as you aren't talking fastE then they should be plentiful and cheap.
FDDI is "dead" as is 10M ethernet.  if you are having a hard time finding
one
let me know.  i'll give you a hand.
