You have another *nix box yeah?  -- fire up RARP & TFTP, and go type:

  boot net

....then you can chuck out the floppy drive, can't think why anyone
(philips/nec?) invented the things in the first place... nothing but
trouble, and not even big enough to stick an MP3 on!
