Not really difficult. Basically, you use axfr-get to get the zone data
in djbdns format, merge that into your root/data file (or, even better,
concatenate several files -- your own zone data, and the data you get
via zone transfers -- to the data file), run make, and that's
it. There's an example in the djbdns docs.

My words. I'm about to use djbdns as a replacement for bind in a network
with ~500 nodes, because bind simply doesn't cut it. It's amazingly
unreliable, sometimes failing to find a hostname for ten minutes or
more. dnscache (from djbdns) has never failed me so far.
