I dissasembled an Eagle (the shock sensor indicated it was toast) that I 
got with a uVAX II back in '97 or so.  It took about three days of
fiddling with it in my spare time at work, to reduce it down to component
parts (with no cutting/grinding, etc) - but my god, how *beautiful*.
Workmanship abounded.  Machined metal, mmmm.
