[SunRescue] Where can I get man and man pages?

All,

Something is not quite right about my man pages. they have little single
character errors all over the places. I think maybe my man files are corrupt
and I'd like to reinstall them, but I have no idea where to get just the
package for solaris man, and the default system manpages. Could someone send
me/make avialable to me/direct me to the contents of /usr/share/man (and any
other system default man pages), and send me/make avalable to me/direct me
to the original Solaris man package?

I cant find them on my install cd's, or on any sun sites (or the common
freeware sites) since it's assumed by all that man will always be there I
guess

Thanks

Chris Byrne

Subject: [SunRescue] My man pages have fallen and they cant get up

All,

something really weird is happening with my system. As I've mentioned I've
jsut rebuilt my U10 after some major league penetration testing. Well I
spent the morning installing the packages necessary for a useful system (why
couldn't Sun include these? I mean they are all free fer chrissakes. Just
take all of sun freeware and burn it onto a cd and distribute it every few
months like SGI does) and something weird happens.

As far as I know nothing I installed should break man, but for some reason I
can no longer read man pages. They are still there, and I can view them with
nroff, but no matter what I do (manpath, explicitly specifying the file etc)
man always returns "no manual page for <x>"

Any ideas?

Chris Byrne
