[SunRescue] Serial Port Help

Good Evening!

After being quite busy I finally had time to buy a 25- to 9 pin converter for
my IPX (already had a null modem cable with Minidin connector)
However, while I was successful in booting the box at a friends house (via a
breakout box) while attached to a Linux box,
I am unable to get anywhere when attached to my Win2k Laptop.
I'm using Hyperterminal, and (per the FAQ) have set it at 9600 8N1 with VT100
emulation.

I don't have any free Serial ports on any of the Linux boxes (failover and UPS
have them taken), so I'm pretty
well regulated to using my laptop or spare Win98 boxen for this project.

Am I missing something on this setup?
