I picked up some IPCs from Mike N and found out that the boot program
and the way you populate the SIMMs can affect what happens.

Apparently on some Sparc boxes the memory is not allocated in one
contiguous chunk. If the boot loader is trying to load something into
RAM and there ain't no RAM there, you will have problems - it will
stop partway thru the boot process.

Answer - load the sucker up with RAM and then install; once installed,
put the "normal" amount of RAM in it and everything is OK.

Cordially
