[SunRescue] Weird IKOS s-bus card

I've just found an Ikos Systems s-bus card in my pile o' junk.  Assy #
0001893-0001B, model # SBIF.  It's got a Xilinx 3064 FPGA and a handful of
line drivers/receivers (MC3486 and 3487) on board and a 37 pin d-sub.
Anybody got a clue?  (I'm fairly certain it was used to interface some kind
of ASIC emulation device.) 

It'd be sweet if it could somehow be used for discrete I/O lines, kinda
like the parallel port on a PC.
