Alright. How about this. 8086 machines networked via SLIP. Each machine shall be stuffed with transputers. So, we have on board SMP, then clustering across boards in a machine, then clustering of the clusters via serial. Perhaps violating the basic premises, but geeky cool fun none the less. -- Joshua Boyd
