[rescue] WTF was I thinking?

You might have faired better if the 2x4s were on end, resulting in a 4" 
thick ramp.

I suspect also that if you had some sort of metal sheet to spread the 
load, it would have been OK.

Would have been "interesting" to watch ;^)

Hope all are OK (you, your foot, and the PDP-11/23)...
