Huh?  Seems you need to learn about the merits of -48vdc!

I don't know how much of a learning experience it is, but there is www.48vdc.com

DC-DC converters are often switching units too.

Indeed I've heard tell some switching units will drive their own
oscilators no matter whether you feed them AC or DC?

(Anyone got a 110vdc supply?  :-)
