I don't think the Sun U10 uses the same PS, but I'm not sure. I think the
Tatung and some other clones do (AXi-type board, if not the exact same
board).

SunPCI can run in a window on the Sun's monitor or with its own monitor.
You configure this when you set it up. It shares the Sun's network port
(can have its own IP address) although the newer ones (PCI II, with
Celeron processor) have an optional dedicated network port on the card.
You'd recognize it though.

Main system uses U5/U10 type memory. Nuff sed.

The SunPCi system will either use regular PC100 SDRAM (K6-2 model) or
PC133 SODIMM (Celeron model). Best to verify the type (and make sure you
don't need ECC or registered--I don't think you do) and order from Crucial
or the like. I saw Sun had the 512MB SODIMM for $1k before discount (the
latest Celeron model will take up to 1GB) whereas Crucial has it for $234.
Overpriced? nah. And you can guess the PC100 SDRAM difference (I think the
256MB DIMM costs more than the board if you get it from Sun). Yep,
370-4295 is $600 list cat A ($40 from Crucial if it's not registered, $90
if it is), and the board when it was available was $500 list.

Hope this helps. Also hoping to get myself a SunPCi for my AXI (although
if I rack it in my 2U Fuller case I'll be tight on PCI slots...)... a
SunPCI IIpro with 1GB RAM looks almost tempting :)
