this is a Sun C compiler specific flag that gives gcc a fit.  edit your Makefile
and remove this from there.  i think it's prefixed with -X so remove that too.
there also may be an -Xc and a, uhm, crap what's the other common one.  well,
if it's there it'll give an error from gcc.

delete those and you should be fine.
