[SunRescue] 4/690, Solaris 7, and GnuPG 1.0.4

Has anyone here had any difficulty getting GnuPG 1.0.4 to compile and
run properly under Solaris 7?

I'm getting a string of "Bus error" messages any time I try to do
anything (like generate a key), and when I run it as a normal user, it
complains "Cannot open /dev/tty: permission denied".

I'm wondering if the fact that I've hacked Sol7 to run on my 4/690 is
what's screwing me up here, although I haven't had troubles with
anything else I've tried.
