Funny you should have a Crowley quote as your /sig, check out the geeks list
achives, we were jsut talking about that sort of thing.

Oh, and as to the alpha, try running a BSD or True64, or even VMS on it, you
might like it better that way.

Hi,
   I just joined the list. I'm from New Zealand, at the bottom of the
world in the South Pacific. Currently I run Linux and Windows on 80x86
machines, though I've run Solaris 2.6 (on 80x86) in the past. Am
interested in  non-80x86 machines, in fact I'm getting myself an Alpha
Station in a week or so (to run Linux on naturally). Am interested in
finding out more about Sun machines, and hopefully laying my filithly
little hands on one in the not so distant future.

Would like to here from others in NZ or that really big island across
the ditch.
