Hi Chris,

Might have your IS dept. check again as to the value of those
Suns. Sun has recently made changes as to the value of trade-ins.

According to a good friend, who is a Sun Dealer, Sparc 4, 5, 10, 20
systems are now worth only a flat $200.00 on a trade-in. In many
cases, you have to purchase specific equip. to get any trade from
your stuff. I just got a few Sparc Arrays and a couple 1000E's for
an average of $75 ea. My company was only offered $50 each because
they were not upgrading to the "right" models. While they were all
low end, minimally configured, just a year ago they were worth 10-20
times more in credit for new models.
