Not in EXT2 but UFS does have logging these days (man mount_ufs under
Solaris 7 or better.) NTFS doesn't journel but from a fs standpoint it isn't
that bad. It is actually 'posix compliant' but doesn't ship w/ the necessary
posix tools for creating hard and soft links.
