Yeah, I remember David very fondly.  It was Soquel, if I remember correctly.

He basically talked me through the growing pains of my early sun days.  We 
spoke fairly frequently.

He was finding it very difficult to compete and make money as prices fell, and 
went through a not-so-nice divorce.  Not only did this cost him money, but his 
shipping and accounting department, from what he told me.

One day he just had a yard sale, took a real job as he put it and bailed.  He 
even let case.com go to seed....


I've tried several times to track him down just to say Hi.  I owe him a lot, 
and would love to call the next time I'm on the left coast and offer to buy 
him dinner and a beer as a partial repayment, but he seems to have dropped off 
the face of the earth.
