[SunRescue] Sun Model 950?

Greetings.

In a recent trip to the University of Michigan's Property Disposal, I ran
across a rather unusual find. It's a really big Sun, about half the height
of a refridgerator and about as wide and deep. Without completely tearing
it apart, the information I got off of the sticker on the back was this:

Model: 950
Part #: 595-1242-01

It had some form of reel-to-reel tape drive on the top and was priced at
$500. Anybody have any idea what this thing is?
