I bought a Unifi-LR, hooked up a serial console, and put OpenWRT on it so I
didn't need their centralized Java management crap. :)  Best AP I'd used until
I got the Google OnHub a few months ago.

My current setup is an OnHub as a bridge-mode wireless AP, with a 
Ubiquiti Edgerouter (I have both the X and the Lite, currently using the X) as
NAT/VPN/primary gateway.
