If you have it, it will use it (from my machine with 3TB of filesystem):

   Mem: 65M Active, 328M Inact, 14G Wired, 13M Cache, 703M Free
   Swap: 16G Total, 428K Used, 16G Free

None of that is from the userland; it's all ZFS being piggish.  Granted,
the system does the right thing under memory pressure, but the first few
times of seeing those kinds of numbers can be alarming.
