It has discrete graphics available ($80 upgrade), and all configs have  
HDMI output.

Agreed about base config at $229 being close to impulse buy range...

Imagine if Apple had a base config of iMac that was only $229 and  
could go to 8 gigs without tripling cost of system... Oh, and take a  
normal (not laptop) HD.

If it's a knock-off, then I say 'knock away!'
