the roll-out plan.  why a small bedroom town and not a city with
businesses etc?

also a new [old] phone co - i'm in ma [verizon] while atkinson is in
nh [fairpoint now] - but they were done when they were still verizon,
and other places in ma have fios - at least, judging from the advert
bombardment.

before verizon ran fiber, my friend was pissed he couldn't get dsl.
he's within range but doesn't have copper back to the co; his
neighborhood is served from a pole-mounted concentrator.
