It certainly is.  45 miles/hour in my Firebird (in terms of the perception
of how the ground/surroundings move) felt a about as fast as 70 miles/hour
does in my truck.  Between the differences in seat positioning and ground
clearance, my eyes are probably at least two feet higher off the ground in
the truck.
